Would you run a marathon without warming up first?
I think the obvious answer to the above question is 'No', therefore as singers, whether amateur or professional, it is always good to have some sort of warm-up regime. Something that is designed to start slowly that will stretch your muscles and help with your breathing and vocal development.
Exercises may seem a pain, but they should not cause pain, at least not physically!
A new section has been added to the members pages of our website, which lists several warm-up exercises along with a description, the sheet music and audio files. All of which may be downloaded to your computer, tablet or smartphone for viewing, playing and practicing at your leisure.
Don't forget - to be the best you have to practice, practice, practice.
