The group is now advertising on the Arboleas Forum with a posting under the music section entitled 'Call for singers'.
As this is a new venture in a new location, the initial start can be daunting, however it pays to advertise, advertise, advertise.
A stack of flyers and good old shoe leather will have to be employed to spread the word initially to those not connected to the internet or not currently looking for us.
A website is ok, once people know about it and its address. Facebook is great for spreading the word, so long as your friends (and friends of friends) LIKE and SHARE our page. By the way each of these news items have a Facebook like button at the bottom - go on - give it a click.
On-line forums such as the Arboleas Forum are a good community to tap into to help spread the word.
Newspapers are great and can do a lot of the advertising and spreading the word - but can be expensive - unless the Euro Weekly News takes pity on this start up venture and wants to write a free article on a new singing group?
Finally you should never under-estimate the good old word of mouth process as there is always someone, who knows someone who is interested in or looking to join a new dynamic singing group?
So by my reckoning within a weeks time we should be hitting the 1,000 people mark for those who know about the new singing group The Incognito Singers?
